This isn't a rare or valuable tool, rather it's a curious thing.
Half inch drive extension, 12 inches long, but with a 3/8" male end. How often would anyone need that? I bought it, put it in the tool box, just to see if I ever find a use for it.

You might some day, but it's pin-lock so unless you have other pin-lock stuff to use it with you might not be happy with how it all stays together (or doesn't). The Apex stuff is made for specific industrial uses; 1/2 drive air or electric is standard so that's what it has. Great stuff!

I'd definitely use it. As a drift.
For some of those very deep spark plug wells on DOHC car engines...
I remember stacking 2 regular extentions to get to a 928 S4's plugs.
