Seen at the Huron County museum, it's described only as an "occasional chair". I have more questions, as in why would anyone do this? And why would anyone want to sit in it?

[Two-minute efflorescence of bad language suppressed.] I would add, weakly: Did the same person who conceived of that thing and stuck old horns all over it also do the upholstery? Or did he ($20 says it was a he) select the moldy-limeade crushed velvet fabric and get his spouse to take it from there? And if the latter, was coercion or outright physical cruelty involved in the spouse's assent?

I would never want one in my home, but apparently horn furniture was a thing for awhile in the American West. Maybe they didn't have a lot of wood, or maybe they just liked horn. Ugh.

If it’s an occasional chair, what is it the rest of the time? I wonder what the hood of the creator’s car has mounted on it.
