We probably all have a cheap chintzy basin wrench that does the job just fine when occasionally needed but doesn't this old Andree wrench just look so much more business-like?

So according to the patent, you can reverse the direction of this wrench by pulling that pin down, literally releasing the jaw from the wrench (so it's now detached and loose), flipping the jaw around horizontally, aligning the jaw back into place (while pulling down on the pin), then releasing the pin back in place to lock the jaw. All without dropping the jaw, of course.
lol I can't think of anything I'd rather do while buried under a sink...I think I'll stick with the fixed basin wrench that has worked forever.
