at the starting gate of every motocross I was in, about to win I mean... I would start with my left foot on the peg so some of my precious body position and weight could be held/adjusted... with the toe of the boot already touching the shift lever... as the gate flops down using the left leg to push body forward as needed for perfect balance and instant traction control. the right leg going to the peg without delay flailing about and dragging like a great big dumb stupid looking goof. shifting quickly into next gear without clutching at all. on a 80 or an open clASS bike no clutch shifting into the next gear. at the start. often gittin' the hole shot. and the receiving the GIANT 1st place trophy with enthusiast crowd applause and cheering and several loud whistlings and HELL YEAHs from the back. instead of having to stand way down lower on the trophy podium holding regular size goof embarrASSing trophies 2nd through 8th. places. in the pictures you can only see the tops of their heads. you go home after the great race and try to make room for yet another beautiful GIANT trophy... no, YOU shut up.
