Tugboat Rob G. Weddell

Thomas Jarrett, Thomas, The Evolution of Trenton, Ontario, 1913

Looks like a fancy dress ball, with all passengers in suits and hats on the initial trip of the tugboat Rob G. Weddell in 1907. The vessel was named after the son of the owner of the Trenton Bridge and Engine Company. 

Robert Weddell (Senior) built an empire in Trenton, starting in the dredging and contracting business before opening the ironworks in 1873. Odd that I can't find much information on either of these men. I can't find birth or death dates for either of them. I also wonder if Trenton Bridge company became another large Trenton company, Central Bridge Company.
