First Locomotive of the Rio Grande Railroad

Fresh from the Baldwin factory floor in 1873, the narrow gauge tank locomotive has been loaded on a standard gauge flatcar for delivery out west. It will haul passengers for its owners who paid $6450 for it. Looks like a toy!  
Interesting, the background has been whited out for the formal builders photo, but only above the flat car.
