Briegel Method Tools

These rather specific looking tools were found at a local used tool store. I found the Briegel Method name interesting and a little Googling revealed these are tools made by the company as part of their system of attaching fittings to electrical conduit.
Here is a link to a rather entertaining history of the company, located in Galva, Illinois from 1936 until 1976. The company was sold to the All-Steel Equipment Co. and the operations moved to South Bend, Indiana.

I just discovered your review of my website. 😀 It made me smile. There are a lot of these tools sold on eBay, and I thought people should know what they’re for and know a little of my grandfather’s company’s background.
