Windhoff four cylinder motorcycle 1928-31

OHC 750cc engine, no frame per se...this was an advanced design from Germany with production cut short by the Depression.

I can't see a radiator - apparently it relies on the minimal finning on the block sides for cooling? The bores are pretty narrow so I guess it gets by...

Apparently it was oil cooled, I guess the engine was a big enough of a heat sink to carry away "enough" heat. I assume it did not make a lot of horsepower.

The use of the engine as a stress member would be duplicated 40 odd years later in Formula 1 Grand Prix racing.
