Ilford HPS Flat Film, 1955

Norman Hall & Basil Burton (Eds.)  Photography Year Book 1956.  London:  Photography Mgazine, 1955.

Ilford Photo was founded in 1879, but has changed ownership many times over the ensuing century.  In 2005, it was bought by Harman Technology, a British company created by former Ilford managers and named after Ilford's founder, Alfred Harman.  With both Agfa and Kodak having abandoned the black and white photographic market, Ilford Photo is the last hold out for monochrome films and papers.
