Vanished Tool Makers: Continental Drill Corporation, Chicago, Illinois

I found this old 1957 ad online.  There's not much information online about the company, other than that their drills were considered of very high quality.  They appear to have been bought by the Illinois Tool Works, a Fortune 500 company we previously encountered in the Bullows-Binks story.  (ITW is perhaps best known for  their 1961 invention of the Hi-Cone six-ring carrier, that plastic sheet that holds six beer cans together, and that apparently is really good at strangling water fowl.)
