A lovely little valve grinding tool I picked up yesterday.

The tool was apparently made by the Imperial Bit & Snap Company of Racine, Wisconsin, manufacturers of "harness hardware and malleable castings." They started out in the horse-power era, adapted to the horseless carriage, and continued at least into the late 1950's producing items like a swivel boat seat for row boats.
