60HP Mercedes

In 1903 the Gordon Bennett race came down to a contest between the 80 hp Panhard Levassor and 60 hp Mercedes. There had been a fire at the Mercedes factory that destroyed their race cars, touring cars were quickly adapted and the 9,200 cc engined car won.
