Filmed in Natural Vision! Released in 1952, this was the first colour 3D movie produced. It was an attempt to woo viewers from their new TVs back to the movie theatres and was very popular, grossing $95,000 in the first week and starting the 3D movie craze.
The 3D effect was created by the familiar red and green lenses in the cardboard framed glasses the viewers wore. Not surprisingly, the 3D gimmickry was far better than the actual movie.
