Overcome the limitations of the Imperial System

Interesting that this full page 1940s ad was solely to promote the use of their chart, which they gave away. Six or seven decimal places seems a bit excessive, but I have this other idea, ever heard of the metric system?

I respectfully submit that imperial measure has had a politically motivated bad rap, and that metric conversion is a non-solution to a 'problem' that doesn't exist.

It's certainly a recurring topic, that we've posted on several times. I work equally as well in "thous" or mm and am amused to see that after many years of the metric system being taught in schools, kids still know and measure in fractions of inches.
Thanks for your comment! Gerald

I respectfully submit that the metric system did not win World War I or World War II.
