Put into production after the 1973 oil crisis, over 4000 of these 35 mph, golf cart-sized vehicles were produced by 1979. This made the company, Sebring Vanguard and later Commuter Vehicles Inc. the sixth largest car producer in America. It appears some are still in use today.
