Railway Centenary

It's September 27, 1925 and the Stockton Darlington railway is celebrating 100 years of railway steam locomotives. The festival consisted of a run past by various significant locomotives culminating with the original 1824 Locomotion #1 pulling a train of replica cars. The engine is currently at the Head of Steam Museum.
Hard to believe that railways have been operating for almost 200 years.
