The same babysitter who taught my sister and I to smoke Marlboros taught us to stomp hard on the floor to fix a skipping record without having to walk over to the turntable. Sometimes it worked, but we didn't weigh all that much (she did).
You can see this turntable in action on YouTube but only with a stack of 45s...if you "intermixed" sizes, I wonder if it somehow changed RPM as well?
