Rather an unusually styled car with 50s styling and a radically lowered roofline, making it a tough-looking ride. The Rover P5 was introduced in 1958. the P5B Coupe variant was produced from 1962 till the end of production in 1973, by which time it was definitely an anachronism.

Very stylish ride, but the P5B is later than that, 1967, the B being for the Buick all-aluminium V8 in it. Followed by the P6, then the SD1 featured in the series " The New Avengers" that introduced the absolutely fabulous Johanna Lumley...
I had seen pictures of the Queen in her P5s but didn't know what they were. A few vehicle converters ("coachbuilders") built P5 Estate Wagons and a couple are pretty nice; others look like a roof was just stuck on. Pics are online.
