Hardware I can see; I've run a magnet through a full dustpan trying to find a lost small screw or nut. But why would one want to separate metal chips from wood shavings?
You never know when some tiny metal chips will be just the material you need for, e.g., repairing a watch. Meanwhile, your hamster will enjoy the wod chips. --rats
