White sewing machine

Seen in Value Village recently.  What a beautiful machine!  The details are just lovely.  A lady came up as I was photographing it, and admired it enough to pay the $90 price tag.

The White Sewing Machine Company was founded in 1858 in Templeton, Massachusetts by Thomas H. White and based in Cleveland, Ohio since 1866. Founded as the White Manufacturing Company it took the White Sewing Machine Company name when it was incorporated in 1876.  In 1964, it became White Consolidated Industries, and then it was acquired by Electrolux in 1986.  It didn't do well after this.
