Union Engines

The Union 2 stroke engine was built by the Union Lock Company near Coventry, England to take advantage of the postwar motorcycle boom. They were introduced in 1919 and despite the fact they worked well and sold well, the company decided to cease manufacturing after only a couple of years to concentrate on the lockmaking business which they still do today.
