Just a cheap old level, picked up because I liked the geometric frames holding the vials. The 45° vial may or may not be replaced, has anyone ever used a level for 45°?
You know in thinking about it regular people unlike a carpenter might have used these for building basic 45 degree stairs without having to calc rise and run. Throw up two stringers at 45 measure halves and start nailing in treads, done. Back before building inspectors and all that rot.
