I think you're already aware that the Flxible bus company began as the Flxible Sidecar company. While driving my rigid sidecar when my kids were younger I would imagine ways to make it steer and drive like a solo bike. I had no idea at the time that problem had been addressed and solved 50-60 years earlier.
The possibly apocryphal Flxible brand-name origin story, as I understand it, has to do with the patent office declining to allow the mfgr to patent the common word "flexible."
