DOHC 16 valve 1600 cc four is cool, but better to wait for the supercharged version available in 1988.

OK, not the 80s, but I've seen a couple of 914s running around lately, for the first time in years. Can't decide if they've gotten better looking, or if I'm just getting nostalgic.

Yeah, I didn't like them much then, too much Volkswagen about them, but I've seen a couple popping up lately too and I'd agree with you...
