I clipped this out of a newspaper years ago. The 650SS is considered by some to represent the zenith of Norton's vertical twins. You haven't been able to find them (if you can find them) for this price for a very long time.

Ah, the Norton 650 and its mad bigger brother the 'Atlas'.
A cousin of mine had one of these 'back in the day' as you trendy young folk say.
I loved it! I thought it was the best thing since sliced bread, the absolute 'bee's knees' as we boring old folk say.
Then I discovered Velocettes and realised how totally stupidly and desperately wrong I had been, and how I had wasted the precious gift of life until I was born again in hues of black and gold...
