This Reverened Horton Heat song was stuck in my head for days, This morning I turn the corner and here it is! Perfect! A nice summer ride and its for sale. According to the little badge, it's powered by a 390 V8...

My dad had one of these convertibles, a few years later (69), with the horizontally aligned headlights, in a beautiful light yellow, and gave it to me on extended loan (he had too many cars in his driveway). We had just moved into a low rise apartment opposite Havergal College, and I'd parked it outside for a few minutes. Some clown came northbound on Avenue Road, and lost control on the sweeping curve. He took out 6 cars, near-totalling two, one of which was the Ford. My dad took it very well, considering he absolutely loved the convertible.
I learned to drive in my Dad's red Galaxie convertible with a white top. My older brother had it passed to him when he went to college and totaled it in the first week. Got $50 for it from the wrecker. Dad wasn't too happy!.
For his 80th last year, My oldest brother bought a 63 Galaxy convertible, 390 4 speed. Red with a white top. He had bought a white on white one new in 1963, same car otherwise.

Much interest in this car! Good clean lines. It had a for sale sign in the window, if anyone wants the number!
