Lightweights by Honda 1969

For those of us who couldn't afford the stunning new CB750.

Lightweights... The cylinder head alone from a CB450 had its own gravity field. Still a cool bike, though.

Ah! (Long inhale through my nose), I still remember the smell of Streit's Honda in Gainesville , Fl. I rode some used Hondas in the 60's, all I could afford by my lawn mowing, but I used to do a lot of drooling in that store. How much I WANTED, NEEDED that 450.

I had a CB175 looked just like the Honda 350 Super Sport. 10,500 rpm redline, 78 miles per hour, laying on the tank. It was great.

I had a CB175 too and loved it to pieces. My right eye still follows the red tipped rev counter needle upwards and then well within the red range. There was no hesitation to speak of, a great sprinter in the suburbs!
