I had a SkiDoo 9500 Blizzard, a '79 model if I recall. Carbide skegs and carbide studs in the track. It'd do well over a buck. supposedly the best open water machine on the market at the time. Mind you, I never gave that a try.
I wonder what the world speed record was?
