April calendar from Thompson Products

I've discovered that the 1955 calendar matches the 2022 year, so here's your calendar for the month. Enjoy it for the oddly shaped pre-radome nose of the C130, or the font used for the days.
Thompson Products grew out of Cleveland Cap Screw Co, who had come up with a process of manufacturing bolts with welded heads. A welder, Charles Thompson, applied the process to engine valves and they became the largest manufacturer of internal combustion valves in the US. As jet engines replaced internal combustion engines they started making turbine blades. The company operated a branch in St Catherines, Ontario.

In the early fifties the company became associated with Simon Ramo and Dean Wooldridge who had left Hughes Aircraft and specialized in guided missile development. The new company developed ICBMs and branched out into electronic components. The company changed their name in 1958 to the three last names-Thompson, Ramo, Wooldridge, unofficially TRW. The company became huge in high tech, aerospace, satellites, electronics and defence. After acquisition in 2002 by Northrop Grumman, the automotive branch was spun off to the Blackstone Group.

The St. Catherine's branch is now a factory for THK Rhythm, a Japanese maker of linear motion devices.
