Guzzi inline four

This was a new design for Moto Guzzi, who, from 1952-54 tried this longitudinal shaft drive inline 4 racer with small diameter tube space frame. Apparently it was not well liked because of the top heavy feel. It was discontinued with the development of the V8.

Never knew these existed; thanks. That frame: Lincoln Logs or Meccano?

Tinker toy (or the Italian equivalent...) I'd like to see it without fairing and tank.

Upvote for rats - I'd never heard of this one before either. Thanks, Mr. G.

Me neither! This is the first original picture I've seen, though Phil Ainsley has done his usual excellent photography on the machine here;
