10 lbs of lead disguised as a rubber sculpture of a fish. An object I couldn't just pass up, but what am I going to do with it now?

That's a downrigger weight, designed to move through the water while trolling hence the hydrodynamic shape. The vinyl coating is to protect the boat hull from scratches.
You could use it as a counterweight for something I suppose. Or maybe a hood ornament.
