"Gowns by Lanvin-Castillo". I had to google this brand. Short version, there are numerous period dresses and gowns available online with the higher end of prices in the $4000-$7000 range. I did find one dress that is purported to be from 1931 priced at $37,500. In any case, the gowns pictured in the ad are likely worth more than the car cost new in 1956.
