Clipper Ship, T. F. Oakes

The launch of the iron hulled clipper ship "T. F. Oakes" Drawing by F. Cozzens.  The ship was built at Philadelphia, Pa. in 1883.

Apparently she was later (1897) renamed New York, and wrecked in Halfmoon Bay, CA 1898. (Or was stranded in the vicinity of San Francisco in 1901.)
