Union Pacific M10000

Introduced in 1934, the futuristic 600 hp aluminum M10000 ran till 1942 when it was scrapped for the war effort. It had been the first internal combustion streamliner in the USA.

That is a photo of M10001.

Thanks for the comment and correction! The M10001 was diesel powered instead of the gasoline-engined M10001 and had 6 cars instead of the 3 of M10000. Thanks again, sad that none of the M10000 series survived.
