La Moto Chenille

In 1939 Swiss engineer Adrian Mercier built two JAP powered prototypes of a tracked all-terrain cycle. He claimed it could drive through mud, snow and water up to 2 feet deep. A 45 mph top speed and 40 mpg fuel consumption were also reported. After these two prototypes were shown, nothing more was heard of the machine.
