German "Mistletoe" glider

The Luftwaffe experimented with composite aircraft, both with a unmanned drone loaded with explosives, usually a converted Junker 88 controlled by a detachable fighter, as well as a way to launch gliders. Here a Messerschmitt 109 flies with a DFS-230 glider. DFS stands for the German Research Institute of Gliding.
