Flink motorcycle

I happened upon this oddity at the Chief Blackhawk vintage meet at Davenport Iowa, I thought it was just an interesting old homemade special with a Husqvarna engine.
However, it turns out that the motorcycle was the work of a Swedish machinist, Gustav Flink,  who in 1955 started modifying the new Husqvarna 175 two stroke engine for racing,
This led to him designing and constructing his own competetive 250 in 1965. Soon he was designing an innovative new chassis for it and several prototypes were made.
Full story here, told better than I could.

Looks like every component besides the carb, frame and seat is Husqvarna. Looks like the front down section is sheet metal and not tube as does the rear. Maybe entirely sheet metal frame? I don't remember nor can I find one major win in competition for a Flink. Someones better idea I suppose.

From the linked article, I think he was probably only active in Sweden in the late sixties. Not much coverage on this side of the Atlantic for that scene in that time period, I expect.
The owner wasn't around to ask, and the article implied that there was a replica in the US. The bike pictured may be that bike.

That's a pretty (and pretty cool) bike, and a new one on me. Lots of good big and little ideas there. Thanks

The Flink looks (superficially, but still quite) similar to the Capriolo Corsa 75 (1954 version). It appears that I can't post a link here, but if you're interested, the Google machine has many nice pics.
