Not a bad idea but not a new one, when I was growing up in the mid 60’s a family along the road with 5 kids, mum and dad riding a tan Dan with a home made wooden side car for the three smallest kids and my friend Robert and his elder brother had their own bikes, - as I recall they got around fine.
