There was some discussion last week about old Gedore wrenches sourced in India. Gedore India was founded in 1961, a joint venture with an unknown Indian company. Here are a number of them, they seem to be not uncommon, at least here in Ontario.
I have a set in SAE, bought in a hurry after some goblin stole my toolbox, decades ago. I wasn't using them to earn a living, and they've served me well.

I bought a metric set from Canadian Tire in the 80s. The quality looked awful, but they never stripped a bolt.
