This is a wrench that would have been supplied with the Sharples cream separator, once a fixture at every farm with dairy cattle. I suspect when the diary cows went, the separator followed shortly afterwards, but a wrench is always useful.
The company was located in West Chester Pa, with branches in Toronto and Chicago. The founder Philip Sharples, passed in 1944, The end of the company is not known.
