The Bill Mitchell-inspired styling was uhmm... polarizing. The engine department was not good, a choice of the abysmal Oldsmobile V8 diesel or the 4-6-8 cylinder engine that wasn't quite worked out. This one has a new job as the Owls Head museum taxi.
Still eye catching!

They do look a bit like they've been rear-ended. D.
4-6-8?
Is that one of the years where the rear air suspension would collapse and people would still drive them around with the front end pointing way up then they'd hydroplane into a tree when it rained?
The Cadillac V8-6-4 engine, introduced in 1981, was a cylinder deactivation system designed to improve fuel efficiency by allowing the engine to operate on 8, 6, or 4 cylinders based on load. It was a notable, though ultimately unsuccessful, attempt to implement this technology.
Baby got back.
