T27 tank

Lt Col. Robert J. Icks, Tanks and Armoured Vehicles.  Phillip Andrews Pub. 1945

The new meets the old. The T27 was an early Russian tankette based on a British design. Introduced in 1931, it was in service through the decade- by which time it was as obsolete as the cavalry pictured. The last recorded use of the tank was the Battle of Moscow, December, 1941.
