Lucy Sprague Mitchell (1878-1967) was a remarkable woman. . In 1916 she founded The Bureau of Educational Experiments, later known as the Bank Street College. Among the College's major accomplishments was the 1984 multi-media series, Voyage of the Mimi, designed to teach math, science and computing. The series gave Ben Affleck his first start in film acting.
