Flattracker choices in 1981

I think this was hopeful thinking from Bultaco, the company was on the ropes by 1981.

Unless you had a resume with a lot of Grand National wins, you won't be getting one of these.

Did anyone ever see one of these? If you thought you had, look closer, the Astro bodywork might be fooling you.

Ammex was the renamed Cooper built by Moto Islo. Were any of these actually sold?

Carabelas come up for sale on Vintage Flat Track's classified-ad pages at the rate of one or two a year. I never heard of an Ammex; had you, Mr G and/or confederates thereof?

I had not known about either the Carabela or the Ammex. I was talking with a guy who raced Astros back in the day and is building racers today, he had never seen either on the track.
