Henry Ford in one of his first prototypes, the Quadricycle in 1896. Powered by a 4 hp two cylinder engine, the vehicle was designed to seat two people.
I'm not sure where this one fit in the alphabet, it looks a lot of letters away from the model T, introduced in 1908.
Below, his garage on Bagley Street in Detroit where he built the car, now located in Greenfield Village.
Story goes, when he finished the car, it was too big to fit through the door of the garage. With no way to get it out, he smashed open the brick wall of his garage so that he could take it for a drive.

Ford had two Model A cars - the obscure (1903-1904) model and the much more famous (1928-1932) model.
