I was lucky to meet A.W., into his 80's, still enthusiastically racing and fettling his own works Moto Guzzi single, taking part in obscure local continental classic road races. Very few around the paddock even knew who he was, and that seemed to suit him just fine.

That's a big front brake for a trials bike, but then ... sidecar + passenger ... I will now shut up for a change, like my mother told me to do.
