Here's a small solidly built level with an unfamiliar logo, one that does not show up on Google, that I can see. Olive drab and with just the one vial I wonder is it was an instrument made to level up equipment in the field, but there are no mounting features either. Any ideas?

Looks like a lathe level to me with that v to sit on the ways.
Yep, some sort of machinist's level. No way to read it from the side, so not much use to a pipefitter or similar. Olive drab, you say? I wonder who would have painted their equipment in that colour?
