I wonder when this ad was made because the upper half of the GSL is pink! I saw it once from the air, quite striking.

This would have probably been in the early 50s but remember, artists license!

Nothing like a train...
I remember crossing the Great Salt Lake as an eight year old...it was nighttime, and on the other side of the window it was storming. There were actually whitecaps on the lake. My mother was frightened, but I was utterly enchanted.
