The tone arm on that li'l turntable makes my scalp prickle. (Okay, yeah, I'm sensitive.) It looks like a product of a conversation like this:
"Well, dang. Says here Germany has surrendered, and we have enough of these landing gear forgings to outfit another six hundred fighter-bombers. What we gonna do with them all?"
"Scrap 'em, I guess ... Hey, wait, I'm having an idea!"
