BMW Modulo concept, 1978


I don't remember this concept at all.  The motor looks like it was designed by an illustrator... 
The general design concept probably resulted in the BMW R80GS when someone pointed out that BMW already had a suitable motor...

What a shame they didn't pursue its development. Surely a porcine 300-500cc shaft-driven dual-purpose bike would have revolutionized the market.

Porcine (é Fratelli) was a Milan industrial-design studio. Founded 1922 by Gargantua Porcine.

I like/want that front fender. the seat looks like
nice luxurious suede. the more I gaze upon the bike the more I want one. I wonder if gray metal flake would look alright because that's what it would get painted if it was in my custody.
probably display on a slow rotating platform under antique chandelier.
